The polymer products are packed in shelves or racks. The product temperature is stabilized in conditioning rooms from which they are transferred to the vacuum chambers by way of automatic lifting devices.

Central to the fluorination process are the vacuum chambers which are several cubic meter in size. Huge doors seal these vessels and powerful vacuum pumps evacuate air from them, creating a vacuum into which the reactive fluorine gas mixtures are released.

Fluorine gas mixtures are contained in specially conditioned cylinders.
These cylinders are kept in explosive proof cabinets for each vessel. Fluorine gas mixtures are released into the reaction vessels. These fluorine gas mixtures react with the surface of the polymer products.
